National Capital History Day

This past week, two of our KH Associates headed to National Capital History Day in Ottawa. The event brought together approximately 300 high-school students and teachers from across the city to showcase and celebrate their original projects. We loved having the opportunity to meet students who are just as passionate about history as we are! Memorable projects included a discussion of the evolution of space travel, the origins of CGI, and the study of Egyptian hieroglyphics.
Attendees heard presentations from Ry Moran, the first Director of the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation, CBC foreign correspondent Nahlah Ayed, and the City of Ottawa’s Mayor, Jim Watson.
Congratulations to the orgnaisers of NCHD for planning an amazing event, and of course to all the students who participated!
