We have an amazing group of people here at Know History! Below is a short post about our very own Sara Wilmshurst who celebrated the launch of a book she co-edited, “Be Wise! Be Healthy: Morality and Citizenship in Canadian Public Health Campaigns.”
Earlier this month Sara Wilmshurst was at the launch of Be Wise! Be Healthy: Morality and Citizenship in Canadian Public Health Campaigns, a book she co-edited with Catherine Carstairs and Bethany Philpott.
The book “explores the history of public health in Canada from the 1920s to the 1970s, a period that saw a massive expansion of education programs through the Health League of Canada.” The launch was well attended, and the co-editors were on hand to celebrate the publication.
Congratulations again Sara on this great achievement!
